ADULT Driving Through the Jim Crow Era and the Green Book
The Gilmore Car Museum Education Team will present the story of the civil rights movement in America and discuss the impact of “The Greenbook.” The famous “GREENBOOK,” written by Victor Green to help Negro Travelers navigate the Jim Crow Era as well as provide information on housing, food, fuel and generally places where travelers would be welcome. Robin Nott will be on hand to play and sing music of the era to accompany the presentation.
