Friends of Ransom District Library News

The Friends are looking for gently used costumes for a planned Halloween costume swap October 3-24th to raise funds for the library. During this time period patrons may come in and pick out a costume for an unset monetary donation.

Costume donations can be dropped off at the library doing open hours and are tax deductible. This is an excellent way to recycle outgrown costumes and help your community.

We can always use volunteers and new members.   If you have an hour or two that you could volunteer or would like to join us, please give Char a call at 269-685-6646.

Jan Ragainis, President of the Friends of Ransom Library

Volunteer Opportunities

The Friends of the Library support the activities of the Ransom District Library by raising funds and assisting with Library programs. They hold bi-monthly book sales and also maintain an ongoing book sale inside the Library. The Friends are actively seeking new members-this is a great volunteer opportunity for retirees, stay-at-home moms, or anyone who loves the Library and wants to help! Call the Library at 269-685-8024 for more information about joining the Friends of the Library.
